Two Friends.

We are Leah and Michelle, longtime friends who've walked together as our parents aged. One of us navigated gradual changes over time, and the other was thrown into a whirlwind of urgent decisions. But in both situations, our families looked at us and said the same thing,
 

"What do people do that don't have someone like you?"
 

That question stuck with us, and that's how Your Aging Navigator was born.

Leah Jones
Client Relations

Leah’s career spans decades in media sales and community engagement, where she built a reputation for connecting people with purpose. Her ability to form lasting relationships made her a trusted partner to small businesses across the region.

But it was her personal experience, walking alongside her mother through memory loss, that reshaped her path. The challenges of navigating dementia care opened her eyes to the emotional toll families face and inspired her to become a voice of encouragement and clarity for others.

​

Now, Leah brings that same heart and tenacity to her work with aging families. She’s an active supporter of the Alzheimer’s Association and is known for her grounded presence, steady support, and genuine care for the people she serves.

Michelle Meinerts
Operations

Michelle brings more than 20 years of experience in marketing, advertising, and business operations, where she led cross-functional teams, developed strategic campaigns, and helped organizations grow with clarity and purpose. Her career has been rooted in problem-solving, building systems, streamlining communication, and supporting growth and change.

​

Her most meaningful work began when her own family faced the overwhelming complexity of aging decisions, medical, financial, and emotional, all at once. That experience sparked a passion to guide others through similar moments with compassion and clarity.

 

Today, Michelle’s strength lies in coordinating the details without losing sight of what matters most. She helps families make decisions with confidence, so they can stay present with the people they love.
